✱ENACTUS SOCIAL CHALLENGE 2024
Safe Sister is a mobile application that provides immediate help, trusted resources, and a sense of community for women in unsafe situations. If you're in an unfamiliar area and unsure about safety, Safe Sister helps you plan safer routes, alerts you when you're entering dangerous zones, and shares your real-time location with your circle of trust. It's like a blend of Waze and Life360, designed specifically for women’s safety.
The app offers features like emergency notifications, Apple Watch integration, verified local resources, and tools to report incidents quickly. It also includes self-defense tips and action manuals based on the 5D methodology, all supported by health and safety experts.
This was part of the Enactus competition, and I had the opportunity to present this project at the Apple Store in Mexico City. I’m so grateful to have had the chance to help and create solutions that support my community.
