I'm part of VANTTEC, a research student group focused on autonomous vehicles. I'm part of the Autonomous Golf Cart project, specifically in the localization team.
We're working on a solution to help the golf cart navigate autonomously using algorithms like A*. This pathfinding technique helps the cart move around campus. We also integrate LIDAR sensors to build a map of the environment, which enhances the navigation process. We also conduct a lot of testing, but most importantly, I get to learn a lot and work with talented people.
